Basic Suturing

Description

Basic suturing is a skill required by many specialties. This module is designed for beginners in basic suturing.

By the end of the module, the learner will have a basic understanding of suturing technique, wound cleaning and dressings, sufficient to attempt suturing under direct supervision for the first time.

  • Wound assessment
  • Wound cleaning
  • Suturing technique
  • Post suturing wound care
  • Knowledge assessment.
